Sandinista Revolution anniversary greetings to Nicaragua

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated Nicaragua Co-Presidents Jose Daniel Ortega Saavedra and Rosario Murillo on the 47th anniversary of the Sandinista Revolution.

“The principles of equality, social justice, and the right to self‑determination, which ensure a peaceful life for the Nicaraguan people, are close and understandable to Belarus, where people and their well‑being are always at the center of state policy,” the greeting reads.

The head of state is convinced that the solid foundation for Belarusian‑Nicaraguan relations laid in recent years will make it possible to continue developing mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation in areas of shared interest with steady momentum.

“I am counting on preserving the achieved level of trust, which helps us successfully implement all our joint plans,” Aleksandr Lukashenko emphasized.

The President of Belarus wished the co‑presidents of Nicaragua robust health and success in their responsible work, and he wished the people of that country peace and progress.
