Metallurgist’s Day greetings

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated metallurgical industry workers and veterans on Metallurgist’s Day.

“This is a holiday for people of strong character, fiery hearts, and unyielding will,” the greeting reads. “You have chosen a challenging path for yourselves. It is with your own hands that you produce the very metal that supports the engineering frameworks of bridges and factories, and that is supplied for machine building and housing construction.”

The head of state noted that Belarus rightly takes pride in the achievements of its metallurgical sector. “The industry is developing dynamically: innovations and digital technologies are being introduced, and import substitution programs are being implemented,” he emphasized.

Aleksandr Lukashenko offered special words of gratitude to the veterans, who have passed on their knowledge and unique experience to the new generation: “Today, the descendants of working dynasties and young professionals are taking the baton with distinction, protecting and advancing the proud legacy of their elders.”

“I am confident that you will continue to strengthen the economic power and sovereignty of our native Belarus through your dedicated, hard work,” the head of state added.

The President wished the industry’s workers and veterans, as well as their families, health, peace, kindness, and prosperity.
