Constitution Day greetings

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has wished a Happy Constitution Day to Belarusian people.

The head of state remarked that the Fundamental Law, which was adopted between two ages, anchored the historical right of the Belarusian people to live in a sovereign state, to create a free and fair society where the state guarantees social protection and equal opportunities for every person and every family.

“While scrupulously observing the constitutional norms, we teach our young citizens to respect legal traditions and to be responsible for the future of our state, we ensure the continuity of generations,” the message of greetings reads.

Aleksandr Lukashenko expressed confidence that in the Year of People’s Unity the constitutional norms reflecting people’s commitment to solidarity, social accord and mutual understanding will the main guiding force in reaching their goals.
