85th anniversary greetings to Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended greetings to the executives, employees, and veterans of the Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant as the company marks its 85th anniversary.

“The history of the enterprise began during the first, hardest days of the Great Patriotic War with the formation of the 2nd aircraft repair train of the Baltic Fleet Air Force, which took part in the defense of Leningrad and the Soviet Arctic, restoring the engines and special equipment of combat aircraft. Exactly seven decades ago, the Bolbasovo airfield became the plant’s permanent deployment site, and today it holds a significant place in the defense sector of the Belarusian economy,” the message reads.

The head of state noted that through its hard work, the enterprise’s team makes a significant contribution to strengthening the combat readiness of military aviation and the reliability of Belarus’ civil air fleet. “You successfully master advanced technologies, continuously improve the production base, and expand the range of serviced equipment, while preserving the best traditions and the continuity of generations,” he emphasized.

“I am convinced that your team, which is characterized by high professionalism, responsibility, and dedication to the home enterprise, can tackle the most difficult challenges and achieve great success,” Aleksandr Lukashenko added.

The President wished all employees and veterans of the Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant good health, prosperity, and new achievements for the good of Belarus.
