Greetings to Belarusian machine builders

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated workers and veterans of the Industry Ministry and the machine-building complex on their professional holiday.

The head of state noted that Machine Builder’s Day brings together people whose work forms the foundation for the country’s economic development.

“Over the years of independence, our machine building complex has gone through a difficult path of development. Today it serves as a powerful engine of progress, ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of such sectors of the economy as agriculture and forestry, transport, communications, and construction. In the face of serious competition, the teams at our enterprises demonstrate high professionalism, mastering new types of products, deepening interstate cooperation, and strengthening the republic’s technological sovereignty,” the congratulatory message reads.

The President addressed special words of gratitude to veterans, to those who laid the glorious traditions of the national engineering school and rebuilt and built factories in the post-war years. “Your experience and devotion to your work serve as a guide for the younger generation of designers, technologists, and workers,” the head of state remarked.

“I am convinced that machine builders will continue to effectively address the tasks set before them and strengthen our country’s image as a recognized center of industrial growth,” Aleksandr Lukashenko emphasized.

The President wished machine builders and their families good health, happiness, success, and labor victories in the name of the prosperity of Belarus.
