Greetings to Belarusian Railways workers

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko extended greetings to employees and veterans of the Belarusian Railways as the country celebrates Railway Workers’ Day.

“Today, the Belarusian Railways unites tens of thousands of employees whose hard work guarantees punctuality, reliability, and safety in transporting nearly 60 million passengers and around 100 million tonnes of cargo annually,” the message reads. “Railway workers participate in implementing key national projects across industry, construction, and agriculture. As supply chains expand into foreign markets, modern services are being actively introduced, enabling domestic products to be exported to over 100 countries worldwide.”

The head of state noted: “All these achievements have been made possible thanks to your competence and discipline. I extend special words of gratitude to the veterans and founders of railway dynasties for their contribution to the development of the industry and the upbringing of the younger generation.”

Aleksandr Lukashenko expressed confidence that the team of the Belarusian Railway will continue to honorably handle new tasks aimed at improving logistical routes, container shipping, and the infrastructure of international transport corridors.

The President wished the team good health and continued professional success for the good of Belarus.
