Greetings to U.S. President Donald Trump on 250th anniversary of U.S. independence

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended his congratulations to U.S. President Donald Trump on Independence Day and the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States.

“It is impossible not to admire the heights the American nation has managed to reach over the course of a quarter of a millennium. The moon landing, breakthroughs in science and medicine that have mattered to all of humanity, and major economic achievements, all of these are examples of the determination, hard work and genuine patriotism of the American people,” the message reads.

The Belarusian leader pointed out that it is hardly accidental that this significant milestone, the nation’s 250th anniversary, arrives during the tenure of a President wholly dedicated to advancing America’s interests.

“There have never been any contradictions between our peoples, and as the President of Belarus, I am ready to work together to normalize bilateral relations, as well as to support your aspirations to make the planet a safer place for our children and grandchildren,” Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed.

The head of state wished Donald Trump and every U.S. citizen peace, happiness and prosperity.
