Greetings to Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill

    Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has wished a Happy Name Day to Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill.

    “Saint Cyril, Equal-to-the-Apostles has become a true beacon of Christian enlightenment, the promotion of Orthodox faith, knowledge and culture. Like your patron saint, you have been doing a lot to be a good example of selfless service to God and the Fatherland, to provide moral guidance to and to pray for all believers, to show the way to the perfecting of the soul to every person,” the message of greetings reads.

    Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed that the deserved head pastor’s authority of Patriarch Kirill is getting stronger every year, and his wise word helps strengthen universal human and Christian values, unites all Orthodox Christians in Belarus, in Russia, and in the whole world.

    The head of state wished Patriarch Kirill good health, wellbeing, and long productive years of life.
