Greetings to people of Switzerland

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended greetings to the people of the Swiss Confederation as the country celebrates Confederation Day.

“Beyond personal ties, Belarusians and Swiss are united by tolerance and a commitment to resolving all issues through peaceful means,” the head of state said. “This creates favorable conditions for realizing the potential of bilateral cooperation in various areas on the principles of mutual trust and respect. Today, the futility of policies that artificially restrict contacts between people and states is absolutely clear.”

“Through joint efforts, we are able to make an important contribution to ensuring peace and building a sustainable and more just global order,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.

The President of Belarus wished the multinational people of Switzerland harmony, prosperity, and a happy life.
