National Day greetings to Slovenian people

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to the people of the Republic of Slovenia as the country celebrates National Day.

“Statehood is the main value and testifies to the ability of the nation to develop independently. People in your country know very well how thorny your way to the acquisition of independence can be and what efforts its preservation requires. I am convinced that the brotherly Slovenian people fully shares the commitment of Belarusians to unity and better fate,” the head of state noted.

The President stressed that Belarus views Slovenia as an important European partner and has always paid much attention to the implementation of joint projects.

“I am convinced that we will be able to overcome temporary difficulties and reach a new stage of constructive dialogue and mutually beneficial cooperation,” Aleksandr Lukashenko remarked.
