Aleksandr Lukashenko sends Constitution Day greetings to people of Denmark
Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to the people of Denmark as the country celebrate Constitution Day that turned 175 this year.
In today's realities, the Constitution as the supreme legal document is of particular importance in protecting the sovereignty and independence of the country, the President noted. He stressed that Belarusians, like the Danish people, revere the law which determines not only rights but also responsibilities. "We believe that the same approaches apply to international agreements that create the necessary basis and security guarantees for the international community," Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
The head of state called on the Danes to support Belarusian peace initiatives, ensure the implementation of the agreements that have been reached and boycott the unilateral illegitimate restrictions that make no sense but destroy trust and respect.
“Belarusians are always open for equal constructive interaction with the Danes in order to preserve security and sustainable development of the common European space,” Aleksandr Lukashenko emphasized.
The Belarusian President wished the friendly people of Denmark peace, well-being and prosperity.
