Greetings to new head of Sovereign Military Order of Malta Marco Luzzago

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to Marco Luzzago who was appointed Lieutenant of the Grand Master of the Sovereign Military Hospitaller Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, of Rhodes and of Malta.

The head of state expressed confidence that the activities of Marco Luzzago as the head of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta will help promote the support of fundamental values – mercy, compassion, justice and peace – in the society.

“Belarus appreciates initiatives on providing humanitarian, medical and social aid to institutions and people of our country. Many-year cooperation in the fight against human trafficking plays a big role,” the message of greetings reads. “Minsk is open for proposals regarding the enhancement of ties with the Order of Malta and will do its best to bring all constructive ideas to life.”

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Marco Luzzago strong health and every success in his noble mission.
