Greetings to Minsk Suvorov Military School

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko sent greetings to the Minsk Suvorov Military School as the educational establishment celebrates the 70th anniversary.

"I congratulate Suvorov students of all generations, officers and veterans on this big date," the head of state said. "Created in the difficult post-war years, the school has become a home for children whose lives were scorched by the war." For seven decades, the Suvorov Military School has given a start in life to more than 13,000 graduates who received decent education and grew up to be true patriots, the Belarusian leader stated. Many have achieved professional heights in the civil service. Most became officers, and some became generals, choosing the difficult but noble path of military service.

"At present, the school is one of the best secondary educational institutions in the country in terms of secondary education. It makes a significant contribution to the patriotic education of the younger generation and the training of future Belarusian officers," the President stressed. “I am convinced that this will continue to be the case. Suvorov's traditions will always remain unshakable, and brotherhood will always remain indestructible."

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished everyone good health, happiness, prosperity and new achievements for the benefit of dear Belarus.
