Greetings to MTZ workers

    Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to the personnel of Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ trademark) as the enterprise marks the 75th anniversary.

    “The long and glorious history of MTZ started in just a year after the Great Patriotic War when it was vitally important to rebuild the country from ruins, to restore the manufacturing industry, to plough and sow,” the message of greetings reads. “Rural workers have been using your equipment for three quarters of a century. The Belarus tractor is one of the most recognizable and popular Belarusian brands in the world.”

    The head of state remarked: “Today the MTZ holding company unites modern production facilities in the Belarusian capital city, oblast and district centers, assembly workshops and service centers in neighboring and distant countries. The plant has a developed social infrastructure and is a popular destination for industrial tourism.”

    Aleksandr Lukashenko expressed confidence that relying on old traditions of veterans of tractor production the MTZ team will continue developing the enterprise, keep leading positions in the post-Soviet space, penetrate new markets.
