Visit to N.N. Alexandrov National Cancer Center

On 10 May 2001 Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko visited the N.N. Alexandrov National Cancer Center. The president was informed about new treatment methods used in the center. Aleksandr Lukashenko said that the center needs upgrade and re-equipment to be able to meet international standards.

The head of state also took stock of the progress made in the construction of the Minsk Oblast Children's Clinical Hospital in the village of Lesnoy. The president assured that the facility would get the necessary funds, as no expense should be spared on people's health.
