Visit to Belarusian Cardiology Research Institute

On 21 July 2000 Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko visited the new cardiovascular surgery complex of the Belarusian Cardiology Research Institute. The Head of State was made familiar with the equipment in surgery rooms and the intensive care department. The president was told that devices designed by Belarusian scientists were among the equipment in use. Those included an assisted blood circulation system, a laser device, and Belarusian stents. After visiting the surgery wing Aleksandr Lukashenko talked to reporters.
