Opening of a new building of the Center for Pediatric Oncology and Hematology

The opening ceremony of the new building of the Belarusian Center for Pediatric Oncology and Hematology took place on 13 October 1997. It was attended by Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko, members of the government, diplomats, the Austrian delegation led by Minister of Environment, Youth and Family Affairs Martin Bartenstein. The construction project was sponsored by the Belarusian side, the purchase of equipment – by the Austrian side. The Center for Pediatric Oncology and Hematology is a modern well-equipped facility for medical practice and research.
