Order of Mother conferred on 34 Belarusian women
The Order of Mother has
been conferred on 34 women with many children from Gomel Oblast, Grodno Oblast
and Mogilev Oblast for giving birth to and bringing up five and more children.
A corresponding decree was signed by Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko.
Among the awardees are women working in agricultural, trade and religious organizations, educational and healthcare institutions, sports organizations, at light industry and food production enterprises, service providers and homekeepers.
The Order of Mother has been conferred on worker of the agricultural enterprise Drapovo Galina Matskevich, shop assistant from Ostrovets District, Grodno Oblast, Anna Lavretskaya, lecturer of the Minsk seminary Olga Grib, worker of Lelchitsy secondary school No. 2 Galina Sechko, engineer of the Bobruisk-based bakery Svetlana Alekseyeva.
