Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko believes that the growing generation of Belarusians will be confident in their future, rely on themselves and love Belarus, President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he attended the event of the New Year charity campaign Our Children on 24 December.
The New Year Eve party has brought together the winners and laureates of creative and intellectual competitions, athletes. The President of Belarus congratulated children on these achievements: “We will do everything to help you develop your talent, knowledge and abilities. We will do our best to make you feel needed in your country. This is the main priority,” the head of state stressed. The President wished young Belarusians to become truly educated and polite people, to enrich the national legacy, and to make the world better and more beautiful.
The head of state hopes that in the adult life they will continue good traditions and make their contribution to the prosperity of the Fatherland, help protect peace and accord in the native land.
The head of state stressed that peace, and our kind and industrious people are the most valuable assets of Belarus. "Unfortunately, it is not quiet and peaceful in other places. Peace and calm in many parts of our planet get broken,” the Belarusian head of state noted. The President said he is very happy that a lot of children especially from Ukraine, where it is unquiet, found shelter in Belarus.
Belarusian cordiality, hospitality, love for the country and willingness to help is at the heart of the national culture. Every generation makes its invaluable contribution to this treasury, and the younger generation of Belarusians is expected to make its own,” the head of state stated.
