Meeting with heads of football, ice hockey federations
On 17 November Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko met with head of the Belarusian Football Federation and Chairman of the Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus Sergei Rumas.
The meeting focused on regulating state support for sport. In particular, the President said that state support measures in sport industry have to be targeted and the money allocated for sport has to be used rationally.
Apart from that, Aleksandr Lukashenko met with Head of the Belarusian Ice Hockey Federation, First Vice President of the National Olympic Committee Igor Rachkovsky. The head of state gave instructions to create an ice hockey development system in Belarus, with the operation of all the components of the system compliant with unified requirements.
