Lukashenko sends condolences to Russian President over plane crash in Kazan 

    On behalf of the Belarusian people and himself Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended condolences to Russia’s President Vladimir Putin, the people of Russia and friends and relatives of the victims of the plane crash in Kazan.

    “It is with deep sorrow that the Republic of Belarus heard the news about the crash of the passenger plane in Kazan which caused great loss of life,” reads the message of condolences.

    The head of state also conveyed condolences to President of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation Rustam Minnikhanov whose son died in the crash.
