Greetings to workers of Belarusian chemical industry

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to workers and veterans of the Belarusian chemical industry who celebrate their professional holiday.

“Today it is hard to overestimate the importance of the chemical and petrochemical industry for the Belarusian economy,” the head of state noted. “Your enterprises produce more than 500 product items which are essential for modern life and the further development of the industrial sector, machine-building, housing and utilities, agriculture, defense sector, space technologies and other fields.”

Aleksandr Lukashenko emphasized that thanks to veterans who laid a solid foundation of the industry and the efforts of today’s researchers and practitioners Belarusian enterprises are being modernized, innovation are applied. It helps export products to over 90 countries across the globe and look to the future with confidence.

“I am convinced that in the future your close-knit teams of workers will continue making a significant contribution to the prosperity of the state,” the Belarusian President said.
