Greetings to participants of the International Childhood Volunteers Congress

Dear friends,

I send my warmest greetings to the participants of the International Childhood Volunteers Congress timed to the 25^th anniversary of the Children’s Fund.

Such representative forums bring together pedagogues, doctors, cultural figures and all kind-hearted people willing to find ways to help children who found themselves in a difficult life situation. These events also serve as a ground to discuss development prospects of the volunteer movement in the best interests of the coming generation.

Protection of childhood and maternity, raising the family status are the social policy priorities in the Republic of Belarus. Our paramount concern is to help every child get comprehensive development and fulfill his or her dreams in the atmosphere of love and care.

We highly appreciate the noble mission of the fund which aims to protect orphans, disabled children, and children left without parental custody and to help families with many children and low-income families.

I am confident that creative activity of the fund will help unite efforts of all countries in resolving urgent social problems in the future.
