Greetings to participants of 28th Minsk International Book Fair and 7th International Symposium of Litterateurs

    Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to the participants of the 28th Minsk International Book Fair and the 7th International Symposium of Litterateurs “Writer and Time”.

    The head of state remarked that over the period of its existence the Minsk Book Fair has become an important dialogue platform not only for authors and publishers but also for a wide range of intellectuals who appreciate high-quality books.

    “It is symbolic that the Commonwealth of Independent States will be the central exhibitor of the forum. In the year when this respectable organization marks its 30th anniversary Belarus presides in the Commonwealth. Minsk has always been and still is committed to constructive cooperation and all-round integration in the post-Soviet space. Landmark publications of the CIS member states exhibited at the forum are meant to promote the enhancement of humanitarian ties between our countries and peoples,” the message of greetings reads.

    Aleksandr Lukashenko wished the organizers and participants of the forum productive work. He also wished its guests unforgettable meetings with authors and publishers of fascinating and useful books.
