Greetings to Lithuania president-elect Gitanas Nauseda

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to Gitanas Nauseda who was elected Lithuania President.

“I strongly hope that your activities as president will help establish constructive Belarus-Lithuania contacts for the resolution of existing issues and the enhancement of confidence and security in the region,” the message of greetings reads.

Aleksandr Lukashenko reaffirmed Belarus’ interest in expanding cooperation with Lithuania on the principles of equality and good-neighborliness in the political, trade, economic, humanitarian and other fields.

“I hope that the bilateral dialogue will be continued, including on the hospitable Belarusian soil,” the President stressed.
