Distinguished Belarusians receive state awards
President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko conferred state awards on a number of people for committed labor, big personal contribution to the improvement of the legal system of the country, merits in the military service, the promotion of healthcare, energy sector, science, culture, and sport. The Belarusian head of state signed relevant documents on 19 April.
The Order for Service to the Motherland III Class was bestowed upon Colonel Victor Khrenin.
The Order of Honor was conferred on Director General of BelavtoMAZ, Director General of MAZ Alexander Borovsky, Professor of the Veterinary and Sanitary Expertise Department of the Vitebsk State Academy of Veterinary Medicine Valery Lemesh, chairperson of the permanent commission for international affairs and national security of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus Nina Mazai, judge of the Constitutional Court Valentina Podgrusha.
The Order of Francysk Skaryna was bestowed upon chairperson of the permanent commission for education, science, culture, and social development of the Council of the Republic Antonina Morova, cello teacher of the National Gymnasium College under the auspices of the Belarusian State Music Academy Vladimir Perlin.
Various state decorations were presented to workers of industrial enterprises, agriculture, medicine, education, culture, and sport.
An official letter of thanks of the President was given to deputy head of the Secretariat of the Constitutional Court Antonina Gubich.
