Distinguished Belarusians honored with state awards
Ten representatives of the Interior Ministry system have
been honored with orders, medals and honorary titles in recognition of their
achievements. Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed a corresponding
decree on 29 June.
State awards will be presented for exemplary fulfillment of service duties, professional excellence, personal courage and bravery displayed in crime prevention and emergency situations, big personal achievements in research and teaching, personnel training in law enforcement bodies.
Among the awardees is deputy head of the department for special training and operational support of special events of the terrorism prevention department Almaz of the Belarusian Interior Ministry Nikolai Krivaltsevich. He was honored with the Order for Service to the Homeland 3rd Class.
Professor of the Interior Ministry Academy Valery Ananich received the Order of Honor.
