Commentary to Decree No. 309 of 29 August 2017
The number of deputy interior ministers has been
reduced. Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed corresponding Decree No.
309 on 29 August.
In accordance with the document, there will be four deputy ministers in the Interior Ministry, including a first deputy minister – head of criminal police, a deputy minister – head of public security police, a deputy minister – commander of the internal forces, and a deputy minister.
The decree aims to raise the efficiency of law enforcement bodies.
