Wreath laying ceremony at Victory Monument in Minsk

On the occasion of the Fatherland Defenders and the Armed Forces Day, President Aleksandr Lukashenko laid a wreath at the Victory Monument in Victory Square on 23 February 2000. Senior government officials, MPs, representatives of veteran organizations and public organizations, the clergy, and foreign diplomatic missions also paid homage to the soldiers and partisans who died heroically during the Great Patriotic War, veterans and all those who honestly fulfilled their international duty.
