Moscow and All Russia.
“You have dedicated your entire life to the Russian Orthodox Church. Your long-term service gives people faith and hope, supports and encourages them in everyday life, and promotes the ideals of goodness, love and mercy,” reads the message.
The head of state underlined that Belarusians have a high regard for Patriarch Kirill for his contribution to the revival of Orthodox cultural traditions, interfaith peace and harmony in the society, and the active stance on vital social and ethical issues.
“You devote much attention to our country and pay Patriarchal visits to Belarus. Thanks to this, you are highly regarded by Belarusian believers, and the Orthodox Church has the respect of the citizens and the state. I wish you strong health, energy and many years of life. May the spiritual wealth of the brotherly peoples of Belarus and Russia multiply thanks to your work and care,” the message reads.
