Belarusian MPs honored with state awards
A number of MPs of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Fourth Convocation and workers of the Secretariat of the lower chamber of the Parliament were decorated with state awards in recognition of their long-lasting fruitful and committed work, vigorous government and social activity, profound personal contribution to the development of legislation and inter-parliamentary cooperation. President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko signed the relevant decree on 8 October.
The Order of Homeland Second Class was presented to Vladimir Andreichenko, Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus.
The Order of Honor was bestowed upon Vasily Baikov, chairman of the permanent commission on state construction, local self-government and regulations of the House of Representatives, and Nikolai Kazak, deputy chairman of the permanent commission on education, culture, science and technical progress.
The medal of labor services was conferred on Vladimir Vasilenko, deputy chairman of the permanent commission on national security, Larisa Vershalovich, deputy chairperson of the permanent commission on Chernobyl problems, ecology and nature management, Inna Zayats, deputy head of the main expert and legal department of the Secretariat of the House of Representatives. The medal for labor services was also bestowed upon Ivan Kletskov, head of the IT department of the Secretariat of the House of Representatives, Valentina Lukashenok, deputy chairperson of the permanent commission on legislation and judicial issues, Natalya Reut, head of the department to facilitate the work of the permanent commission on health protection, physical education, family and youth issues of the Secretariat of the House of Representatives, Nina Fedoruk, deputy chairperson of the permanent commission on health protection, physical education, family and youth issues of the Secretariat of the House of Representatives, Galina Yurgelevich, deputy chairman of the permanent commission on education, culture, science and technical progress.
The Honored Worker of the Transport Industry title was conferred on Vladimir Zherelo, deputy chairman of the permanent commission on industry, fuel and energy complex, transport, communications and entrepreneurship.
