Belarus, Serbia mark 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations
Belarus and Serbia have exchanged greetings on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations.
In particular, in a message of greetings addressed to Serbia President Tomislav Nikolic President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko noted with satisfaction that over the past two decades the brotherly nations became closer to each other in spite of the complicated external conditions. “The ability of Belarusians and Serbs to overcome obstacles is a testimony to the continuity of Belarus-Serbia ties which have common historical, cultural and spiritual roots,” the message of greetings reads.
Aleksandr Lukashenko expressed confidence that the association of Belarusian and Serbian capacities, coordinated and concerted efforts to implement existing Belarusian-Serbian projects in various industries will help enhance bilateral relations and raise the wellbeing of the two nations.
