Belarus President approves resolution of Talented Youth Special Support Fund
On 24 May President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko signed the executive order to approve the resolution of the Talented Youth Special Support Fund of the President of the Republic of Belarus.
A total of Br1.4 billion will be made available in 2012 to finance the expenditure of the Talented Youth Special Support Fund of the President of the Republic of Belarus. These funds will be spent on financial rewards to the best of the talented youth; on organising international and national competitions, exhibitions and other events to discover young talents and promote what they do; on acquiring musical instruments, stage costumes, materials and equipment for supporting artistic creativity and for other purposes to support young talents and give them professional training and help perfect their artistic skills.
The executive order approved the Council’s decision to allocate Br562.5 million for paying bonuses and fund’s scholarships to the gifted young people and providing them with financial assistance (about Br149 million); for purchasing musical instruments, costumes and equipment (about Br231 million).
The presidential executive order will make it possible to provide state support for the most talented young people and will create an enabling environment for revealing and developing the young talents.
