Belarus, Kazakhstan Presidents meet in Belovezhskaya Pushcha on 12-13 May

    Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko and President Nursultan Nazarbayev of Kazakhstan met informally in Belovezhskaya Pushcha on 12-13 May.

    The day before the official part of Nazarbayev’s visit to Belarus, the two leaders had informal talks in the Belovezhskaya Pushcha. Aleksandr Lukashenko received his Kazakhstani counterpart in his residence Viskuli. The two heads of state had a warm conversation, took a walk to see the landmarks and reserved sites of the national park.

    It has been noted that Belarus’ unique natural potential, its reserves and national parks are a solid foundation for development of cooperation in tourism and recuperation.

    The Presidents of Belarus and Kazakhstan discussed a wide range of bilateral issues on the eve of the official talks in Minsk.

    The program of the official visit includes a meeting with Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko where the heads of state are to discuss the prospects of all-round cooperation for the two countries.
