Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko appointed Andrei Pavlyuchenko Head of the Presidential Security Service of Belarus. He was relieved of the post of the head of the department in this agency.

Aleksandr Lukashenko remarked that Andrei Pavlyuchenko is an experienced person of iron discipline. “He should be an example for people to follow. It is important for the Presidential Security Service and other departments,” the head of state said.

In his words, diligence is important for all high-ranking officials, not only in security agencies.

Speaking about the performance of the Presidential Security Service, Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed that there should be balance in its work, especially during public events. “When security agents start pushing people away for security reasons, they must remember that people just want to see their president,” the head of state noted. “You need to find the happy medium, be very careful and professional. The Presidential Security Service has learned to do it.”
