Aleksandr Lukashenko visits Church of Nativity of Mother of God in Orsha

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko visited the Church of the Nativity of the Mother of God in Orsha on Easter. The head of state attended the Easter service and talked to believers.
The President wished health and good mood to people. “Good mood will help us reach success,” he said. Aleksandr Lukashenko reminded that Belarus was and will be a peaceful country. “We are not going to fight. But if someone wants to fight against us we will repel aggression. We do not have such enemies. Therefore, live in peace. Everything will be all right,” he stressed.
The head of state remarked that following a good tradition he celebrates Easter in various regions of Belarus. This year the President visited his small homeland.
Aleksandr Lukashenko presented the icon Christ Pantocrator made by Dmitry Poluyanov to the Church of the Nativity of the Mother of God.
