Aleksandr Lukashenko sends Statehood Day greetings to Serbia
Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent
greetings to Serbia President Tomislav Nikolic as the country celebrates
Statehood Day.
“The Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Serbia have reached a high level of cooperation relying on the spiritual and cultural unity,” the message of greetings reads.
The head of state reminded that the first official visit of Serbia Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic to Belarus in the history of bilateral relations took place in January 2017. It will give an additional impetus to the interstate cooperation. “I hope for new meetings which will help deepen the Belarusian-Serbian dialogue for the benefit of the two countries,” the President remarked.
Aleksandr Lukashenko also wished Happy Birthday to Tomislav Nikolic and expressed confidence that the friendly relations between the two countries and similar positions on the major aspects of international politics will help expand bilateral cooperation in various fields and implement existing agreements.
