Aleksandr Lukashenko sends Russia Day greetings to Vladimir Putin

    Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to Russia President Vladimir Putin as the country celebrates Russia Day.

    “Serious changes carried out under your leadership promoted the development of modern Russia, its stable social and economic growth and advancement on the international arena,” the message of greetings reads.

    The head of state expressed hope that Belarus and Russia will continue close and productive cooperation in the atmosphere of trust and mutual understanding for the benefit of the two nations.

    Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Vladimir Putin every success in his responsible public activities. He also wished Russian people peace and prosperity.
