Aleksandr Lukashenko sends Name Day greetings to Metropolitan Filaret
Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent Name Day greetings to Metropolitan Filaret, Patriarchal Exarch Emeritus of All Belarus.
“It is great that thanks to your many-year productive work the constructive relations between the state and the Church in the Republic of Belarus open up vast opportunities for cooperation on the basis of traditional Christian values,” the message of greetings reads.
Aleksandr Lukashenko praised the invaluable contribution of Metropolitan Filaret to the creation of the foundation of achievements aimed at the formation of strong moral values in the society and the enhancement of religious accord in the republic.
