President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to Turkmenistan President
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow as the country celebrates the 25th
anniversary of independence.
“Over a quarter of a century Turkmenistan has achieved a lot in economic development and improved the wellbeing of its people. Peace and accord in the society, and the responsible foreign policy are the pillars of the country’s big international authority,” the message of greetings reads.
Aleksandr Lukashenko remarked that over the years the Belarusian-Turkmenistan relations have been relying on friendship, mutual respect and equal dialogue.
“The existing level of strategic partnership is our common legacy. I am convinced that by joint efforts we will be able to preserve and multiply it,” the head of state stressed.
