Aleksandr Lukashenko sends greetings to Znamya Yunosty personnel
President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to the personnel of The Znamya Yunosty Newspaper as they celebrate the 75th anniversary of the newspaper.
The head of state remarked that the history of the newspaper is inseparably connected with the development of the youth movement in Belarus, labor and military deeds of the nation. In 1984 the newspaper was awarded the Badge of Honor in recognition of its profound achievements.
The newspaper performs an important educational function, which is to cultivate high moral principles and values among young people, enrich and develop their inner world, the message of greetings reads.
“I am convinced that the personnel of The Znamya Yunosti Newspaper will continue the best traditions making the newspaper a good advisor and companion for the youth and popularizing the intellectual and spiritual potential of the society among the younger generation, they will enhance the image of newspaper with their professional excellence,” the President stressed.
“Let the world, about which young people learn with your help, be always filled with genuine life values,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
