Aleksandr Lukashenko sends greetings to Uzbekistan president-elect Islam Karimov
President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to Islam Karimov who was elected President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
“Your convincing victory at the election is a vivid testimony to the support and trust of the Uzbek people to your policy aimed at promoting stable development of the country and enhancing its international authority,” the Belarusian President noted.
Aleksandr Lukashenko expressed confidence that the traditions of friendship and mutual understanding will contribute to the dynamic development of Belarus- Uzbekistan cooperation in the best interests of the two countries and nations.
