Aleksandr Lukashenko sends greetings to participants of Media in Belarus, TIBO 2012 exhibitions

    Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to the participants of the XVI International Specialized Exhibition "Media in Belarus" and the XIX International Specialized Exhibition and Congress on Telecommunications, Information and Banking Technologies "TIBO 2012".

    "Modern world is impossible without information technologies. They changed the civilization, allowed people reaching a higher level of development, which scientists called 'the information society'," the message of greetings reads.

    The Belarusian head of state noted that "the development of information and communication technologies is a top priority for Belarus. We have big achievements in this area, but we still have a great deal to do. Our country must use global best practices. Therefore, the exhibitions "Media in Belarus" and "TIBO 2012" play a crucial role."

    Aleksandr Lukashenko wished the participants and guests of these representative forums interesting discussions, practical results, and fruitful work for the benefit of the entire nation.
