Aleksandr Lukashenko sends greetings to participants of Golden Puck tournament
Belarus President, President of the National Olympic
Committee Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated the participants of the
nationwide ice hockey tournament for children and youth Golden Puck on the
opening of the final competition.
“Our country hosts this wonderful ice hockey tournament for children and youth for the 21st time. It has its roots in backyard hockey. This courageous sport is very popular with children,” the message of greetings reads.
The head of state remarked that the Golden Puck tournament is a bright and unforgettable event which will give a chance to all the participants to demonstrate their sports skills, mastery, and the will to win.
“Such events help children strengthen their characters and health. Healthy youth is our future, the guarantee of the wellbeing of sovereign Belarus. Therefore, the care of the growing generation is one of the priorities of the state policy,” Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed.
