Aleksandr Lukashenko sends greetings to participants of Golden Puck tournament
President of the Republic of Belarus, President of the National Olympic Committee Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to the participants of the nationwide children’s ice hockey tournament Golden Puck.
“Over the years of the tournament’s existence thousands of young sportsmen have taken part in this wonderful competition which has become a true school of professionalism for them. For many athletes the Golden Puck tournament was the first step on the way to elite sport. This tournament is very popular as it unites courageous, energetic and friendly boys who are fond of ice hokey. The competition has many good traditions which are cherished by new participants,” the message of greetings reads.
Aleksandr Lukashenko expressed confidence that the children will make many glorious achievements in sport and will represent Belarus at international competitions in the future.
