    Greetings to organizers, participants and guests of the 10th Republican Festival of National Cultures

    Dear friends,

    I send my best greetings to the organizers, participants and guests of the 10th Republican Festival of National Cultures.

    Over many centuries a unique character of ethnic and cultural neighborhood between various nations developed on the Belarusian soil.

    Today the Republic of Belarus is home to representatives of over 140 nationalities and ethnic groups. They preserve and promote their history, cultural legacy, enrich the Belarusian society. At the same time, the state does its best to fulfil the principles of the national policy which aims to respect the rights and interests of ethnic communities.

    The Republican Festival of National Cultures helps strengthen traditions of friendship and spiritual solidarity which unify the multi-ethnic Belarusian nation.

    I am convinced that the 10th anniversary festival will contribute to further enhancement of cultural and inter-ethnic ties, open new creative companies and performers, become a bright event in the cultural life of Grodno – the 2014 Capital of Culture of Belarus.

    I sincerely wish every success and prosperity to the festival, creative inspiration, health, happiness and wellbeing to its participants.
