Aleksandr Lukashenko sends greetings to participants of 12th Moscow Easter Festival
According to the head of state, the fact that the beginning of the festival coincides with the celebration of the Resurrection of Christ is very symbolic. “A fantastic cultural campaign held under the aegis of maestro Valery Gergiyev helps promote eternal Evangelic ideals of kindness and love, high moral traditions and esthetic values. During the festival thousands of people are given an opportunity to attend splendid performances of musical bands, renowned soloists and talented young artists, enjoy meetings with genuine art,” the message of greetings reads.
“This year’s Easter festival will bring together the best modern musicians, present many exciting moments and discoveries to thankful fans. I am convinced that the festival will help strengthen friendship between the peoples,” the President stressed.
