Aleksandr Lukashenko sends greetings to members of CIS council of prosecutors general

    Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to the participants of the 26th session of the CIS Coordinating Council of Prosecutors General.

    “Law and order will always be the pillars of the state governed by the rule of law. Prosecution bodies play a coordinating role in ensuring law and order and preventing crimes. They are a reliable foundation of legitimate power in the CIS member states, the most important link of their law enforcement systems,” the message of greetings reads.

    The head of state emphasized that in view of the escalating global and regional threats workers of prosecution bodies of the CIS member states have to deal with more and more complicated tasks. “I am convinced that by joint efforts you will respond to the negative trends in the modern world and ensure reliable protection of your states and people. The potential of the Coordinatiing Council should be enhanced and become a foundation for the improvement of national institutions,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
