Aleksandr Lukashenko sends greetings to guests of Golden Vityaz film festival in Tomsk

President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to the participants and guests of the 23rd Golden Vityaz International Film Festival in Tomsk.

For almost a quarter of a century this festival of art remains loyal to a wonderful motto – “For moral ideals, for the triumph of the human soul”. “The Golden Vityaz festival regularly brings together outstanding masters of cinema whose creative work helps promote genuine moral and esthetic values in the society, strengthen Slavic unity, bolster friendship and cooperation between all peoples,” the message of greetings reads.

“This year’s film festival continues and enriches these glorious traditions. The forum showcases films of various countries which are united by one common feature, namely the eagerness to bring the light of truth and sublime spirituality to people through cinema art. Belarusian movie makers will feature their new works at the festival. These films laud noble goals of the forum and arouse light and kind feelings,” the head of state remarked.

Aleksandr Lukashenko expressed confidence that the 23rd Golden Vityaz International Film Festival will become a bright event in the cultural life, make new creative discoveries and host many unforgettable meetings.
