Aleksandr Lukashenko sends condolences over demise of writer Vasily Belov

President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has expressed condolences to the relatives and friends of writer and public activist Vasily Belov.

“We knew and appreciated Vasily Belov not only as a wonderful writer, but also as a strong advocate of ideas of Slavonic traditions who did a lot for the strengthening of friendship between the two brotherly nations. His passing is an irreplaceable loss for all Belarusians,” the massage of condolences reads.
